How resource partners can get involved
The Child Nutrition Fund welcomes governments, foundations and individuals wishing to contribute to achieving the goal of accelerating the scale-up of essential actions to prevent, detect and treat child wasting.
Contributions can be directed to the Child Nutrition Fund in two ways:
General contribution: You have the option to provide a general, unearmarked contribution to the Child Nutrition Fund. Our dedicated team, in collaboration with our esteemed partners, will strategically allocate these resources across the Programme Window, the Match Window, and/or the Supplier Window.
This allocation will be based on a comprehensive assessment of unmet needs in various areas, ensuring your contribution complements and maximizes existing resources. This adaptable approach is crucial for the success of our initiatives, allowing us to support targeted actions in the right locations and at the right times.
Specific contribution: Alternatively, you can designate your contribution to be specifically deployed through one of the three windows of the Child Nutrition Fund:
Programme Window: your funding is allocated directly to essential actions at country level.
Match Window: your funding is used to match domestic contributions to essential services and/or commodities.
Supplier Window: your funding is used to support the production and distribution of essential nutrition commodities.
