A response to the silent emergency
Founding and development
The Child Nutrition Fund was established in response to the need for a coordinated and sustainable approach to financing nutrition interventions globally. Launched at the Global Food Security Summit in 2023, the CNF has rapidly become a cornerstone in global efforts to combat child undernutrition.
The CNF is designed to be more than just a fund – it is a strategic platform uniting governments, donors, and partners to reshape the way nutrition is funded and implemented.
Since its inception, there has been one steadfast belief at its core: that every child and woman deserves access to the nutrition essential for healthy growth and development.
Guided by evidence, driven by equity, and focused on results, the CNF is scaling up what we know works – delivering proven solutions with purpose and precision.
"The road to ending undernutrition in children and women demands more than short-term interventions. It requires long-term, systems-oriented partnerships that are country-led and sustainably financed, especially in a time of great change in development assistance."
