The Child Nutrition Fund can support national governments by:

Matching domestic resources: through the Match Window, the Child Nutrition Fund can assist national governments by matching new and additional contributions to essential services and commodities for the prevention and treatment of child wasting.

Providing technical assistance to scale up essential nutrition actions: through the Programme Window and building on the established work of UNICEF and its partners at country level, the Child Nutrition Fund can assist national governments by providing technical assistance to guide the scale-up of essential actions for the early prevention, detection and treatment of child wasting.

Identifying opportunities for the national production of essential nutrition commodities: through the Supplier Window, the Child Nutrition Fund can assist national governments in assessing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats linked to establishing and/or expanding the production of essential nutrition commodities. This includes market analysis and potential domestic financing models.
